If you enjoy my photographic work, if you are looking for a photo concept for your business or project, I would happy to hear from you.

I became interested in photography at an early age, but I didn’t have the courage to follow that path right away. I first studied hotel management and then worked for three years as a customer consultant for the advertising agencies Barci und Partner and GGK Vienna, hoping to be close to the creative process. It was my superior who got me to confess my true desire and motivated me to take the entrance examination for the Higher Federal Graphical Institute in Vienna, where I was also accepted.

I then had the great fortune to have photographer Lois Lammerhuber, recipient of several World Press Photo Awards, become my photographic mentor and pass on his extensive knowledge to me. I owe him a great deal – his generosity in sharing his experiences and expertise has led me to where I am today.

Calling and Career

I have been working as a freelance photographer in Austria and internationally for over 20 years and love my work now more than ever. I feel privileged to share my creativity in this way, and I am very grateful that my work introduces me to so many different people and places.

I’ve often been told that a photographer must specialize in order to be successful.

But I never wanted to specialize – I always wanted to stay open to the possibility of photographing what interests me, what I am enthusiastic about, or what moves me. If you measure success by the fact that you still love your work after 20 years and can make a good living from it, then I would say I’ve managed to be successful even without specializing.
